Keep the important parts together

More than a folder of files.

01

Whole-computer images

Capture Windows volumes and the system information needed to recover the computer. Full images establish a starting point; incremental images capture later changes.

02

A practical recovery plan

Prepare bootable recovery media, identify the right restore point, and test recovery onto a spare disk before depending on it.

03

A clear protection status

See whether an image completed, when attention is needed, and which recovery checks remain. A successful backup and a tested restore are tracked separately.

Before you start

A few useful answers.

Does creating an account start a backup?

Your account starts in “Setup pending.” A computer is protected only after its installation and a completed backup. Signup does not install software, enroll a computer, or start a paid subscription.

Where are the backups stored?

The internal pilot stores images on CloudCastle’s existing server array. Customer storage arrangements and capacity are confirmed during setup. An independent offsite or offline copy must be agreed separately.

Can you restore a computer that no longer starts?

Bare-metal recovery uses bootable recovery media to restore the required disk volumes onto a blank replacement disk. Hardware compatibility and successful recovery must be tested for the computer being protected.

What does the service cost?

Creating a Backup account requires no card and creates no charge. We agree storage, retention, pricing, and service scope before activation.

Which computers can be protected?

The image-backup pilot is for supported Windows computers. Setup includes a check of disk format, used space, network access, and recovery requirements.
